Burger Pins Have Arrived!

Hi, y'all!

As of about 20 minutes ago, I've gotten the burger pins into my hot little hands!

I've roped my mother - who has theeeee most critical eye I've ever encountered - into helping me sort and grade the pins so they're all ready to go for order fulfillment!

The pride skull pins are still in the process of being made due to the sheer volume of pins and pride flags, but I'm receiving regular updates from my manufacturer. As of now, shipping addresses will lock on November 30th. This will enable me to begin shipping out the orders that were just for patches and the burger pins, although by then, it's likely the pride skulls will be imminent. 

Please be sure you log into BackerKit and change your shipping address before November 30th. If you do not do this and the pins are delivered to the wrong address, I cannot re-ship them.

The Burger Pin is On Its Way!

Hi y'all!

I just got word from my manufacturer that these pins will be shipped to me later today! I'm super stoked about how they turned out and have been dying to share them with you!

I've also seen images of the pin molds for the skull pride pins; they're coming along nicely! My manufacturer is working diligently to produce all the different flags with the appropriate colors; they may not be as quick to ship out as the burger pin due to the sheer quantity, but their arrival is imminent!

Patches! They're Here!

Hi, y'all!

The first pieces of the rewards are trickling in - we have rainbow skull patches!!

These bad boys have a little bit of sparkle to them, are about 2" tall, and will look hella cool stitched onto the bag, shirt or jacket of your choice!

I'll be sure to update y'all as more pieces come in and as I begin to pack your pledges - I just really wanted to share these. They look so cool - and it's thanks to you that I get to make them!!

Pins in Production + This Campaign By the Numbers!

Hi, everyone!

As of today, I've got confirmation that all of our pins are in production - all 850 pieces! (If your eyes bugged out of your head at that number, you're in good company!)

My manufacturers are really great at nailing the perfect balance of quality and speed, so I've no doubt my pins will be in my hot little hands before I finish my third re-read of Nona.

I've amassed all my packing materials so I can hop right to shipping out your rewards as soon as they come in!

SURVEYS LOCK TODAY + FAQs

Hello everyone!

This is a friendly reminder that your surveys lock today, October 10 2022, at 10 PM PST. This means that you have until that time in your time zone to add any add-ons or make adjustments to your pledges. The pre-order store will also be locked at this time!

There are a handful of backers that have not yet filled out the survey. I have messaged them on Kickstarter. If you received a message from me, please fill out your survey!!

I saw this announcement too late and didn't get my survey in before it locked! What do I do?

I don't like taking money from people without giving them the things they paid for, so in the event that you couldn't fill out your survey before the lockdown date, please contact me at [email protected] with the email attached to your Kickstarter. I can't promise that the exact pin(s) you want will still be available, as I'm using survey answers to lock down order numbers for my manufacturer, but I will do my best to accommodate you!!

I never got an email with my survey link!

If you haven't received an email, please email [email protected] with the name attached to your pledge and I will send you a survey re-send link.

When the survey locks, will my shipping address lock?

No. I will not be locking shipping addresses until the last possible second to account for folks who are students, traveling, moving, etc. Currently, there is no set shipping lockdown date. When that changes, I will announce it here.

What's this about handwritten notes?

I didn't expect so many people to be so curious about this! If you've purchased from my shop in the past, then you know that I send out little handwritten thank-you cards with every purchase. I'm going to be doing the same thing here!

If you would like your shipping label and/or your notecard addressed to a different first name than the one you typed in for shipping, please email me at [email protected] so I can make a note! I will be addressing notes to the name on the shipping label, so if you want it addressed to another name, please tell me!!

I wanted to get an extra pin but the pre-order shop is locked :(

The response to this is a little bit complicated, but will become more clear as time goes on. The short answer is that I hope to have leftover pins to sell on my Etsy shop after the Kickstarter rewards are fulfilled. Hopefully after order fulfillment, pin grading (making sure your pins aren't flawed) and any replacements from lost, shipped packages, there will be some left. The best way to learn about this is to follow WayWords Paper Co. on Instagram and/or subscribe to the email newsletter!
